Lindsey Carter, LCSW, is an author, former mental health therapist, and Army veteran. In recent years, she has earned the title of "paradigm shifter" by challenging widely accepted societal narratives and identifying where we are playing too small and have boxed ourselves in.
Lindsey enjoys writing about the universal human experience, particularly relationships with ourselves and others, and all types of healing. She titled her blog “Anatomy of an Awakening” because she's fascinated by the mental/physical/spiritual overlap, and truly believes the mind and the body are not separate.
She learned firsthand while healing from lyme disease and trauma that in order to be well we must honor all aspects of our humanity. She now draws from her personal experience and knowledge gained during 12 years in the mental health field and holistic healing arena to assist others on their journey.
Lindsey offers online wellness consults and psychedelic integration sessions. She especially enjoys working with military veterans and those who have had challenging experiences with psychedelics and other healing modalities.
As a former therapist, she is also passionate about helping people heal from mental health system indoctrination and awaken to the truth of who the are.
In her free time Lindsey can be found reading a new book, working on a creative project, taking a pilates class, or spending time with her two guinea pigs at their home in Santa Rosa Beach, FL.
